"Superfluousness abounds...
I've been wondering of late why certain phrases when expressing one's feelings are commonly used, have always been used and probably always will be used, but simpler, less poetic ways of saying certain things...just don't work. For instance, if a relative is leaving for a while, it would be proper to say, (in a book anyway) "I shall weep night and day until your return." But if you said, "my nose will run constantly in your absence", that relative might never come back again, due to avoiding you because of your...exceeding weirdness. But it makes more sense-some people have very emotional noses and they run more then their eyes when they cry. Speaking of crying, it also would be a losing statement to say, rather then, "my heart aches", "my intestines are crying". There are many more but I can't think of any others right now-it's rather odd though-saying something one way is normal, and saying something another way is-er-abnormal.
Something to ponder...

Well, it's not that weird! That wasn't even half of what I had thought of, but I forgot it all except for a couple. I got it from my brain.
Let's see how many we can think up.
Yes, indeed. We must all live up to our calling in life-you and I have known for a long time what our calling is.
I still don't think it's that weird though. Well, it really depends on who you're talking to-I mean, some people wouldn't even react to that kind of thing. Come to think of it, technically, there is no such thing as weird.
Abnormally frightening?
Maybe.
But not weird.
I don't know exactly why there's no such thing as weird. It's on the tip of my brain but I can't put it in words.
Technically, people use weird as saying something is strange. But why would something be strange if it is possible?
I think it was off the tips of my fingers actually.
I understood exactly what I meant until you made sense of it all.
It's impossible not to make sense with you Claire, because you always know exactly what I mean and correct me and all the sudden what I wanted to make sense does not make sense and it makes sense that it does not, because otherwise it just doesn't make sense.
Good grief! You're nerds. (you and claire)
How perfect! A geek is a computer engineer! I love that.
It's okay Mr. Chandler! We love hymn sing at your house!I entreat you, forgive us for this one misunderstanding! Take into mind the perverseness of words. A great majority of people would secretly revel in being called a computer geek, because it is really meant to compliment one's intelligence in a more subtle way.
